What types of TOP surgery does Dr Chambers perform?

He offers double mastectomies, periareolar and keyhole approach as well as the novel partial mastectomy leaving the nipple intact. The type of surgery most appropriate for you will be determined at your consultation.

Does he use or recommend contouring?

To get the best and most aesthetic result possible Dr Chambers encourages all his patients to add this service. Please note patients who are candidates for and wish to have periareolar surgery must get contouring.  

What is the cost of contouring?

Cost starts at $2400+HST and varies depending on how much contouring is necessary to obtain the optimal result.  

Is there a BMI limit?

Upper BMI limit is currently 45 however this can be considered on a case by case basis for patients over this. These patients are very strongly encouraged to add contouring as obtaining an aesthetic results without it is very challenging

Is prior approval necessary?

Please note for patients wishing to have their procedure covered by OHIP prior approval is necessary before the consultation. Otherwise this can be privately funded.

Prior approval is also required for patients requesting breast augmentation through OHIP.  There is no OHIP insurance for facial feminization.
